Highlights from this day
  • taper_tess — update on the earlier thing protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive, anyway 11:48
  • a1c_lag — there is no trial on every ten days or every fortnight. people here do it and report on it and that is all we have 11:53
  • taper_tess — while im here i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose 12:07
  • a1c_lag — two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation, n of 1 obviously 12:09
  • nadia_notes — FLOW is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion 12:28

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous

dropping to a maintenance dose was uneventful for me and completely miserable for somebody i talk to weekly

TT

i dropped from 5 to 0.5 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months

i put 28 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round

NN

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan
