the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel

STEP 1 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
weekly not daily
im holding at 2.4 for maintenance and wondering whether i should be lower
i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
Assay note: FGP lot SG-1177 reported at 98.1% of label content.
i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand
whats your rule for when a fluctuation becomes a regain
if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room, we shall see
[edited]am i the only one finding maintenance harder than losing was
regain is expected
Reminder for still_here_2024: dose day is today. Set 9 days ago.
update from 25 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal
how do people handle a two week holiday at a maintenance dose
protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive
i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan
mine didnt hold
cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower
thats fluctuation
the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it
thats SURMOUNT-OSA
a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved
everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here
maintenance is harder than losing because there is no number going down to keep you interested
stopped 24 months ago and put 37 back on, what did people do at that point
did anyone regret dropping the dose too fast
set a trigger weight
my range is 35 and i stopped calling anything inside that a regain, from memory
went back up, no regrets
harder than losing
unrelated but i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else
sorry to jump in resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous
i came off for four months, put 97 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers
appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for
same as a bp tablet
im at goal and nobody has told me what happens next, whats the room doing
holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it, ymmv
how quickly did appetite come back going from 1.7 to 0.25
how long did people stay at treatment dose after hitting goal
while im here i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud, i think
On this day 3 years ago this channel logged 113 messages.
still at maintenance
unrelated but i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose
no official dose
i put 48 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round
for the archive is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 1
i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me, i could be wrong
food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me
Reminder set. I will post here in 5 days.
how much regain did people get in the first 3 months after stopping
i dropped from 1 to 12 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months
