Highlights from this day
  • lower_frequency — while im here hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there 19:35
  • shame_and_meds — i asked one relative to stop commenting. it was awkward for a week and it was worth it 20:43
  • VialBot — Recon calculator: 2mg in 3ml = 8mg/ml. 21:16

slightly off topic but mood dipped hard around week 3, did that lift for anyone

LM

i read every twinge as something serious for the first three months and it does settle down

LM

does anyone talk to somebody professionally about this side of it

😂1🧊1
FI

feeling more emotional generally came up for me too and i took that to my gp rather than to a channel

youre not alone in that

LM

unrelated but is it normal to feel more emotional generally on this

LM

the running out anxiety is real and worth naming. i keep a spare month in the fridge and i sleep better for it

SA

the fraud feeling faded for me somewhere around the point i had kept it off longer than i took to lose it

BD

does the quiet in your head ever feel like a loss rather than a relief

i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it

BR

genuine question motivation has collapsed since the scale stopped moving, has anyone been here

SA

i asked one relative to stop commenting. it was awkward for a week and it was worth it

the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards

update from 6 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it

SA

i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first

i measured my waist and my walking pace during the plateau because both were still moving when the scale wasnt

it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things, still working it out

SA

for the archive if you are struggling in a way this channel cannot hold, please talk to a professional. we are not a crisis service and we know it, i think
