plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly

back after 1 months, has anything changed on the oral side
the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year
absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result
the oral disappointed me on the mornings i couldnt manage 30 minutes fasted, which was most of them
changed my mind on the plain water rule after reading how SNAC works, its not a formality
the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide, happy to be corrected
why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one

PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses, i think
the fasting rule cost me my breakfast routine and thats the real reason people quit the oral
i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better
went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work
is the non peptide thing why orforglipron doesnt need the fasting rules
oral was easier on my gut than injecting at what felt like a similar effect, which surprised me
did anyone go back to injecting after trying oral
whats the bioavailability actually like, i keep seeing about one percent
plain water only
PIONEER not OASIS
i keep the tablet by the kettle so i take it before i think about food
unrelated but does the 30 minutes start from swallowing or from the water
update on the earlier thing is the plain water rule actually load bearing or is it a formality
the non peptide agents dose daily without the water ritual, thats the practical difference
ruined my breakfast
coffee doesnt count
lost 38kg over 20 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway
did OASIS use the same fasting conditions as the earlier work
slightly off topic but the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet, someone check my working
SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job
i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that
big mg small dose
does taking it with any food at all just waste the dose
is there any point splitting an oral dose
roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose
anyone dosing oral because of a needle problem rather than preference
about one percent
i do 6am with water and eat at 7, thats been my routine for 18 months
OASIS ran under the same sort of fasting conditions, thats not the variable between the two
[edited]the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted
splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log
my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings
SNAC does the work
