went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work, still working it out

- blind_submit — SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job 21:47
- auckland_aliquot — the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted 21:58
- auckland_aliquot — plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly, ymmv 22:01
- zoya_zeros — the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet 23:32
while im here the non peptide agents dose daily without the water ritual, thats the practical difference
SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job
fasted every morning
lost 47kg over 20 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway, ask me again in a month
not a peptide
the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted
plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly, ymmv
oral was easier on my gut than injecting at what felt like a similar effect, which surprised me
big mg small dose
mine was patchy too
i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better
PIONEER not OASIS
thirty minutes, no cheating
the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year
is the inconsistency people report about the drug or about how they take it
i do 6am with water and eat at 7, thats been my routine for 22 months
absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result
[edited]the oral disappointed me on the mornings i couldnt manage 30 minutes fasted, which was most of them, still working it out
OASIS ran under the same sort of fasting conditions, thats not the variable between the two
changed my mind on the plain water rule after reading how SNAC works, its not a formality
took mine with breakfast once by accident and that week was a write off
plain water only
about one percent
set a timer
SNAC does the work
the fasting rule cost me my breakfast routine and thats the real reason people quit the oral
took 12 weeks before i saw anything on oral, roughly twice what the injection took me
the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide
technique probably
right so does the 30 minutes start from swallowing or from the water
how much water exactly, is it a small sip or half a glass
my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet
sorry to jump in i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that
Batch lookup B-0114: 4 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-10-01.
i take mine at 6am, is 30 minutes really enough
why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one
[edited]did OASIS use the same fasting conditions as the earlier work
slightly off topic but my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings
is the absorption variability why the oral doses look so high
orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ
PIONEER or OASIS, which one was the higher dose oral
roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose
ruined my breakfast
the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet
nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep, take that with a pinch of salt
does taking it with any food at all just waste the dose
