Highlights from this day
  • week_three_wall — nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing, i could be wrong 19:59
  • VialBot — Verification log updated: Homopeptide — evidence added, status unchanged. 20:35
  • declared_value — you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should 21:48
  • mg_per_ml — dead space in a standard insulin syringe hub is small but it is not nothing over a month 22:23

temperature of the diluent does not matter. how fast you push it in does, i have it written down somewhere

nope, redo it

ok so do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration

bac water or sterile water for something im going into weekly for 6 weeks

VB

Archive lookup: declared_value first appears in this channel on 2025-01-25.

DV

if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space, take that with a pinch of salt

SS

the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly

IM

aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler, ill dig out the number

ST

lyophilised powder is far more robust than people think. it is the solution that is fragile

ST

does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder
my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am

*Medutest not the other one

WT

nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing, i could be wrong

right so the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol

AA

i use bac water even for a single-use vial because it stings less, which is not the reason it exists

[edited]

label the vial

my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am

my vial pulled the water in on its own, is that the vacuum or did i do something

VB

Verification log updated: Homopeptide — evidence added, status unchanged.

AA

if you cannot read the mark confidently, your volume is too small. redo it at a lower concentration, your mileage will differ

ST

im getting bubbles in the barrel every single time, what am i doing wrong

MP

if the powder is on the stopper, tap it down before you add anything. it will still dissolve either way

thats the vacuum

MP

label the date too. you will not remember which vial is which by week 15, i think

GB

the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air

ST

took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience

for the archive read it at eye level

MP
