my vial pulled the water in on its own, is that the vacuum or did i do something

- osaka_assay — a 3ml syringe for the diluent and a u100 for the dose is the setup most people here end up with 13:36
- rotterdam_recon — unrelated but i write the mg/ml on the vial with a sharpie the moment i reconstitute it, your mileage will differ 14:42
- VialBot — New independent result logged — HJ, lot D-0718, purity 99.4% (PeptideMeter). 14:52
- rotterdam_recon — you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should 15:36
- evidence_or_not — follow up if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space 15:42
does benzyl alcohol matter if im finishing the vial in one go
[edited]the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air

a slightly collapsed cake is cosmetic. a puddle in the bottom is not
how do you all measure a half unit, or do you just not
do you let it come to room temp before drawing or draw it cold
nope, redo it

anyone else find the 15mg vials harder to get fully dissolved than the small ones
you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should
is there any reason not to just always use 2ml
do you draw up with the same pin you inject with
bac water or sterile water for something im going into weekly for 7 weeks
follow up if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space
give it 8 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved
label the date too. you will not remember which vial is which by week 7
30mg in 3ml is 10mg/ml, so 5mg is 50 units. half the barrel, feels like a lot but its right
right so does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder
genuine question 10mg in 2ml is 5mg/ml. so 0.5mg is 0.1ml which is 10 units on a u100, ymmv
i use bac water even for a single-use vial because it stings less, which is not the reason it exists
