Highlights from this day
  • reta_resting_hr — my resting rate went up 8 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 3 21:09
  • pinch_not_stretch — the purity spread across lots worries me more than the molecule does 21:21
  • alt_ast_ali — appetite suppression at 12 was stronger than my tirzepatide experience at a comparable point 22:19
  • no_chargeback — unrelated but the phase 2 weight result was larger than what the earlier agonists reported, in a smaller shorter trial 23:13
  • no_chargeback — there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists 23:16
EE

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom, i could be wrong

quick one TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule

EE

research use only is on every vial and i treat it as exactly that, nobody here is prescribing

AA

triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history

AA

came off at 6 weeks because my resting rate stayed elevated and i didnt like it

mine went up too

AA

is the glucagon arm what people mean by the energy expenditure thing

quick one no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data, for what its worth

🎉1
AA

people insist on small steps because the side effects arrive faster than on the other two

SS

sorry to jump in nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps

stopped for 26 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time, we shall see

RR

my resting rate went up 8 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 3

logging rhr daily

TA

the heart rate thing is real enough that i mention it whenever someone asks about starting

AA

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

AA

appetite suppression at 12 was stronger than my tirzepatide experience at a comparable point

baseline 58
wk 2 61
wk 4 64
wk 6 67
wk 8 66
wk 10 65 (held dose from wk 7)
AA

whats a sensible starting point, im seeing everything from 0.5 to 2
