Highlights from this day
  • split_shipment — the heart rate thing is real enough that i mention it whenever someone asks about starting phase 2 was still trending at the end which is why the phase 3 readout… 10:17
  • meniscus_mel — whats the half life like, is it weekly the same way 12:29
  • meniscus_mel — does the glucagon arm explain the heart rate or is that unrelated 12:30
  • split_shipment — ok so no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data 14:17
FD

i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

FD

research use only is on every vial and i treat it as exactly that, nobody here is prescribing

is the phase 2 dosing anywhere near what people here run

low and slow

settled by month three

nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

does the energy expenditure claim show up as anything you can feel

ST

did the phase 2 result actually come in higher than the tirzepatide numbers

i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps

the purity spread across lots worries me more than the molecule does

update on the earlier thing sat at 0.5 for 2 months rather than climbing and it kept working, so i never went up, we shall see

SS

the heart rate thing is real enough that i mention it whenever someone asks about starting
phase 2 was still trending at the end which is why the phase 3 readout matters more than usual

FD

ok so phase 2 was still trending at the end which is why the phase 3 readout matters more than usual

CO

blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect

CO

VendorInvestigate came back 98.6 on one lot and 99 on the next from the same FGP, both fine

RS

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

EE

phase 2 doses are published and theyre not far off what people here run, coincidence rather than plan

anyone reconstituting 10 vials to 10 so the steps come out smaller

held at 10 for 21 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain
buying this is a completely different risk conversation from the licensed compounds and that gets said too rarely

RS

sorry to jump in the phase 2 weight result was larger than what the earlier agonists reported, in a smaller shorter trial

did the phase 2 plateau or was it still moving at the end

cant feel it honestly

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

II

stepping in 1.7 increments instead of doubling is the only thing i would change if i started again, ymmv

does the glucagon arm explain the heart rate or is that unrelated

II

there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists, someone check my working

phase 2 only

did anyone come off because of the heart rate

MM

is the glucagon arm what people mean by the energy expenditure thing

II

right so my resting heart rate is up about 6 bpm, did that settle for anyone

II

stopped for 11 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time

II

buying this is a completely different risk conversation from the licensed compounds and that gets said too rarely

AH

energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

glucagon is the new bit

SS

the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here
stepping in 10 increments instead of doubling is the only thing i would change if i started again

anyone gone above 12 and what changed

ok so no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data

MM

while im here reconstituted the 40 vial to 5mg/ml specifically so i could take 0.25 without measuring crumbs

GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived

i said 5 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since

VB

Purity check: no report on file for lot B-0329. Nothing logged either way.

RR

the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me

AA

how do people square the research use only framing with logging their own use

AA

triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history, i think

for the archive TRIUMPH is phase 3
