SELECT wasnt weight

- taper_tess — did anybody find a difference between SGN and pharmacy at the same 0.25 15:56
- logrotate — going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution 16:46
- logrotate — slightly off topic but did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed 18:12
- mg_per_ml — five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt, take that with a pinch of salt 18:24
- mg_per_ml — anyone gone from 2.5 straight to 5 or is that too big a jump 18:34
held there too
did anybody find a difference between SGN and pharmacy at the same 0.25
unrelated but how long did the first 9kg take for people at the low doses
i held at 10 for 5 months and it was the best decision i made
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 2.4
5 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
update on the earlier thing vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
update on the earlier thing steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
back after 22 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
thats STEP 1
[edited]not the same trial
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
slightly off topic but did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgfollow up SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt, take that with a pinch of salt
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
anyone gone from 2.5 straight to 5 or is that too big a jump
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgdoes moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
£120 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
