Highlights from this day
  • taper_tess — the plateau hit me at 5 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change 17:22
  • blind_submit — did anybody find a difference between Homopeptide and pharmacy at the same 15 17:50
  • bea_reconstitutes — was STEP 4 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up 18:42
TT

lost about 30kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

VI

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

TT

unrelated but my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

unrelated but five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

VI

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

TT

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

TT

while im here the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

genuine question half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

TT

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, for what its worth

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

the plateau hit me at 5 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

🧊9👀1

went too fast once

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

mine faded too

BS

did anybody find a difference between Homopeptide and pharmacy at the same 15

TT

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong, not advice obviously

slower worked better

TT

held at 1 and lost 52lb over 5 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

VL

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose, we shall see

VI

restarted after 17 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

VL

20 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
