- blank_slate_bo — the appetite effect faded for me around 9 months and going up fixed it for a while 14:09
- blank_slate_bo — vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong, ask me again in a month 14:53
- orfor_watch — my 20 vial in 3ml gives 8mg/ml so 12 lands on 25 units, thats why i picked that volume, for what its worth 16:14
- blank_slate_bo — the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong… 16:39
- blank_slate_bo — dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 16:49
thats STEP 1
mine faded too
the appetite effect faded for me around 9 months and going up fixed it for a while
not the same trial
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
held at 12 and lost 59lb over 20 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
2.4 is the ceiling
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong, ask me again in a month
update on the earlier thing did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
[edited]went too fast once
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
my 20 vial in 3ml gives 8mg/ml so 12 lands on 25 units, thats why i picked that volume, for what its worth
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
is the plateau at 9 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
[edited]does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
[edited]did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
update on the earlier thing how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
