#semaglutide 2025-02-26
- snac_and_water — moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me 13:27
- deadspace — STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping 13:34
- taper_tess — half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose 16:30
slower worked better
thats STEP 1
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
held there too
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
mine faded too

sorry to jump in dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, not advice obviously
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
*week 16 not week 7
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
the appetite effect faded for me around 15 months and going up fixed it for a while
for the archive restarted after 12 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
seven days ish
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
