FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

- vacuum_vic — sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping 16:01
- cagri_curious — STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers 16:16
- customs_owl — restarted after 20 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time 16:21
- customs_owl — right so went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step 25 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns… 17:29
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule, ymmv
SELECT wasnt weight
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 15
give it four weeks
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
follow up i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
restarted after 20 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments
was SURMOUNT-1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
[edited]seven days ish
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
[edited]did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up
right so went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
25 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
steady state takes weeks
vials not pens here
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
lost about 18kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me, ymmv
held there too
is the plateau at 6 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
