Highlights from this day
  • warsaw_vial — reship policies vary enormously. FGP honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal, n of 1 obviously 20:42
  • travel_cooler — unrelated but tracking has been dark for 2 days, at what point do i worry 20:49
  • VialBot — Digest for the week of 2025-03-28 has been published. 21:07
  • travel_cooler — update on the earlier thing paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs, ask me again in a month 21:16
  • fake_tracking — summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice 21:42

ok so anyone shipping into New Zealand in summer and what do you do about it

18 days to Canada with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

FT

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them

FT

i had a parcel marked returned that arrived eleven days later. it happens

EM

sorry to jump in the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

is it worth paying for a faster service or does customs eat the difference

be patient with support

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time

A1

if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust

A1

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough, i could be wrong

how many parcels have people lost in total

A1

update on the earlier thing has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned
