#shipping-customs 2026-06-01

Highlights from this day
  • nausea_window — nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly 19:06
  • rotate_the_site — a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence, take that with a pinch of salt 19:46
  • nausea_window — signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss 19:56
  • rotate_the_site — a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them 20:18
  • tyne_tracks — the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better 21:00

split shipments arriving weeks apart is normal and is usually a stock thing, not a customs thing

FF

i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here

NW

i had a parcel marked returned that arrived eleven days later. it happens

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

update from 23 months ago: Spain transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders

💀3🧊10🙏4
TT

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less

AO

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat

AO

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered

coming back to this the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis, i have it written down somewhere

genuine question i have lost 4 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs

SI

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

NW

signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss

RT

reship policies vary enormously. Homopeptide honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time

VB

Batch lookup H-2814: 3 independent reports on file, earliest 2026-03-05.

while im here has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

NW

if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

TT

parcel is sitting at a port with no movement, is that customs or just a port

TT

25 days to Germany with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

🎉14❤️8

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust

while im here thats a stock split, not advice obviously

thats normal transit

thats the end of it

VB

Archive lookup: subq_sy first appears in this channel on 2026-04-29.

powder is robust, take that with a pinch of salt

SS

coming back after 5 months, has anything changed with Germany
