Highlights from this day
  • evidence_or_not — reship policies vary enormously. SSA honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal 12:26
  • myrrh_measures — does Homopeptide actually honour a reship or is it decorative 15:36
  • underfill_uma — if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported,… 15:54
EO

a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them

unrelated but i have lost 6 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice

CC

split shipments arriving weeks apart is normal and is usually a stock thing, not a customs thing

[edited]
EO

follow up signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss

powder is robust

what does the room consider a normal transit time now

*PeptideMeter not the other one

CC

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less

EO

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

CC

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly, someone check my working
i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here

CC

a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence, thats just me

TT

ask about reship

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered
TT

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust

coming back after 2 months, has anything changed with Japan

UU

MM

be patient with support

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered

mine took 18 days

MM

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

update from 1 months ago: Poland transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders
signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss

UU

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time
