  • ferrous_ash — does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving 19:03
  • gradient_greg — i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 20 months at 7.5 not needing more 20:05
  • nhs_pathway_nell — the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so 21:20
  • nhs_pathway_nell — SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial 21:31
  • noct.titrate — restarted at 2.5 after 4 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists 22:33

Digest for the week of 2024-01-01 has been published.

⚠️1
TT

the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 9

GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one

FA

does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving

FA

i sat at 7.5 for 19 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

ST

coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5

ST

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works, anyway

12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

did going from 10 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone

Recon calculator: 30mg in 0.5ml = 2.5mg/ml.

GG

genuine question SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

my PeptideMeter result on a WWB vial came in at 99 which is why i keep buying from them, for what its worth

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did

NP

40 units of a 2 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time, ill dig out the number

did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me

GG

at 0.25 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

NP

the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so

👀10

titrate slow

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

NT

restarted at 2.5 after 4 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
