Highlights from this day
  • identity_shift — GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect the 5 vial in 2.5ml gives 8mg/ml which puts 7.5 on 8 units, nice round… 22:49
  • no_escrow_nate — 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me 23:16
  • no_escrow_nate — if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it… 23:21
  • gip_glp_gil — anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months 23:34
  • meal_prep_mick — my Medutest result on a SSA vial came in at 96.8 which is why i keep buying from them 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me 23:58

follow up went back to semaglutide after 18 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI, thats just me

GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
the 5 vial in 2.5ml gives 8mg/ml which puts 7.5 on 8 units, nice round numbers

switched last year

SB

i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me

unrelated but 40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time

IS

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

SB

the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number

PP

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

GIP plus GLP-1

15 is the top

at 2.5 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

MM

i sat at 7.5 for 13 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

CO

quick one dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line

NE

5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me

GG

did going from 1.7 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone

NE

if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

coming back to this is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule

[edited]

start low anyway

SURMOUNT is weight

GG

anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months

7.5 gang

at 2.5 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up

there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing

[edited]

same plateau here

held 10 for 15 months and lost 21kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine, ymmv

the 5 vial in 1ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 1 on 8 units, nice round numbers

MP

my Medutest result on a SSA vial came in at 96.8 which is why i keep buying from them
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me

*2ml not 2.5
