GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

- seven_five_sweet — why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10 21:47
- ms_ms_mira — plateaued at 3 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific 22:11
- ms_ms_mira — if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table, not advice obviously 22:19
- tarpit_tam — whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher 23:40
the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so

im at 5 and thinking about 2.4, did anyone gain anything from that step
why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
10 was enough
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works, happy to be corrected
5 did nothing
switched last year
the 2 vial in 1ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 1 on 10 units, nice round numbers
GIP plus GLP-1
is 7.5 really the sweet spot or is that just channel folklore
plateaued at 3 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule
if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table, not advice obviously
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
anyone got a 5 recon they like for the 5 vials
went back to semaglutide after 10 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
i sat at 7.5 for 14 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from
coming back to this back after 10 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different

easier gi for me

titrate slow
follow up dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
[edited]no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
start low anyway
unrelated but the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 12

held 10 for 18 months and lost 36kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
switched from 15 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
right so €120 for a 15 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year, still working it out
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
