did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
#tirzepatide 2025-12-06
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
im at 0.25 and thinking about 0.5, did anyone gain anything from that step
the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar, i think
15 is the top
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
slightly off topic but 40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
*that should say weekly
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
easier gi for me
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier
titrate slow
the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)sorry to jump in is the 40 vial the common one or do people use 10
Inter-lab diff for lot E-2205: 97.4% vs 99.2%. Within expected range.
10 was enough
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 3 months at 7.5 not needing more, happy to be corrected
does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start
anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months
did going from 2.4 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
switched last year
5 did nothing
SURMOUNT is weight
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact, i have it written down somewhere
went back to semaglutide after 11 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI, ill dig out the number
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
no clean conversion
is 7.5 really the sweet spot or is that just channel folklore
7.5 gang
folklore probably
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
update on the earlier thing is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects
*Janoshik not the other one
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
at 10 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win
restarted at 2.5 after 26 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
same plateau here
start low anyway
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)£55 for a 40 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
follow up does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving
switched from 7.5 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me, i have it written down somewhere
update on the earlier thing the 30 vial in 5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 0.25 on 25 units, nice round numbers
coming back to this changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome
anyone got a 10 recon they like for the 30 vials
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
right so i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
at 12 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up
