is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

HM

did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

slightly off topic but i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 8 months at 7.5 not needing more

10 was enough

GIP plus GLP-1

❤️10

the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar, take that with a pinch of salt

7.5 gang

BB

switched last year

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)

5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me, your mileage will differ

checked the units twice

unrelated but went back to semaglutide after 10 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 20 months at 7.5 not needing more

BB

ok so is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects

same plateau here

KF

coming back to this 12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

KF

the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

👀2

no clean conversion

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
