40 units of a 2 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 22 months at 7.5 not needing more

*that should say weekly

NW

switched last year

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)

how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough

PS

is the 40 vial the common one or do people use 10

NW

unrelated but no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later

NW

GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

QH

the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

update on the earlier thing licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does, we shall see

QH

the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar

SS

right so restarted at 2.5 after 25 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

PS

held 10 for 25 months and lost 30kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine

PS

the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier

NT

went back to semaglutide after 25 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI

[edited]

£185 for a 15 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year

NW

i sat at 7.5 for 17 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

NT

plateaued at 8 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific, we shall see

NT

at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that

is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects

HL

the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

NT

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did

HL

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
