Highlights from this day
  • subq_sy — dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line 17:28
  • juniper_joins — at 10 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win 19:34
  • juniper_joins — unrelated but restarted at 2.5 after 7 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists 19:47

dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected

MM

SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up, happy to be corrected

is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects

12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

held 10 for 26 months and lost 40kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine

SS

while im here how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you

SS

while im here my Janoshik result on a FGP vial came in at 99.4 which is why i keep buying from them

BR

the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier

BR

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me, anyway

BR

40 units of a 5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time

BR

did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it

no clean conversion

SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial

JJ

for the archive does the appetite effect feel different or just stronger
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did

CC

genuine question how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
held 10 for 21 months and lost 39kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did

why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10

whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different

at 10 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

JJ

i sat at 7.5 for 15 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

is the 20 vial the common one or do people use 10

checked the units twice

unrelated but restarted at 2.5 after 7 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

🙏2⚠️10

easier gi for me

HM

5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me

HM

switched from 2.4 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

*PeptideMeter not the other one

SS

went back to semaglutide after 19 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI

SS

GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect, anyway

CC

slightly off topic but plateaued at 34 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
