the criteria included a bmi threshold plus comorbidities when i read them, and they have been revised since, so check rather than trust me

a member in dublin said their pharmacy supply was steadier than mine in england, which surprised both of us

anyone moved from a private clinic to nhs or the other way round
update from 25 months ago: my clinic price went up by €240 and the supply steadied in the same month, happy to be corrected

the shortage was upstream of the pharmacies as far as anyone here could tell, and shouting at counter staff achieved nothing, someone check my working

private clinic quoted me £185 a month, is that about right or am i being had
the private quotes i collected last spring ran from about 130 to about 250 a month depending on dose, and that will have moved since

the tier 3 referral needed my gp to actually make it, and that turned out to be harder than meeting the criteria
coming back to this driving never came up for me at all and i would ask a clinician rather than take my word on it
the mhra publishes supply notices. whether your pharmacy has read them is an entirely separate matter, someone check my working

nobody here can tell you what your gp will do. the variation between practices is the whole story in england

ireland runs its own reimbursement system and as best i understood it a year ago the picture there was less generous than people expect
the honest position on uk policy is that it moved four times in the two years i have been paying attention, thats just me
a private prescription in the uk was dispensable at any pharmacy willing to take it, in my experience of it
i have never been asked for id at a pharmacy for this and other members here have, so it seems to be down to the individual pharmacist

scotland ran a different process from england when i looked into it, and a member there reported a shorter wait
off label and unlicensed get used interchangeably in here and they are different. off label is a licensed product used outside its licence, ymmv

when i checked last year my local specialist service was quoting eighteen months to two years, and that was for a first appointment
there was a two year limit in the nhs guidance i read. what happened at the end of it was not clear to me then and may be clearer now
did anyone get through the nhs route and how long was it end to end
i would not repeat any of the nhs criteria as current fact, they were revised at least once since i last read them
