my first order from FGP was fine and my fourth was better. they have improved

- lead_time_lars — price per mg including shipping is the only comparison that means anything 21:44
- taper_or_not — the packaging from WXT was the best i have had, double boxed with the tray intact 21:51
- tallinn_taper — prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice 22:01
- red_flag_ruby — i asked for a non standard vial size and got it without a surcharge. that told me more than any certificate 22:05
- sharps_comedy — genuine question the room does not rank suppliers on price. it ranks them on whether what arrives matches what was described 23:23
what packaging have people had from GL Biochem
how many suppliers do people actually keep on rotation
anyone had fill consistency problems with TFC
order before new year
thats a reseller
price per mg including shipping is the only comparison that means anything
weigh the vials
i would order from MKM again and i would still weigh the vials, as i would with anyone
they improved
the packaging from WXT was the best i have had, double boxed with the tray intact
lead times stretch badly around chinese new year. order early or wait it out, someone check my working
[edited]sorry to jump in has anyone worked out the actual per mg cost including shipping for ERP
is it worth paying more for better paperwork
ask who makes it
HJ has been consistent for me across 4 orders which is what i actually want
prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice
slightly off topic but nobody here gets paid to say anything about any supplier and the mods would end me if i did
i asked for a non standard vial size and got it without a surcharge. that told me more than any certificate
option A: 5 x 10mg @ 38 + 25 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option B: 5 x 10mg @ 34 + 45 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option C: 10 x 10mg @ 32 + 25 ship = 345 / 100mg = 3.45 per mgfor the archive cheap per mg is not the same as good value. i have paid more twice and been glad both times
follow up i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem
[edited]paperwork is worth it
per mg including shipping
if three people give you three different suppliers, that is because all three work. pick one and test it, not advice obviously
no sourcing requests by private message. not from members, not from suppliers, and we report anyone who tries, i could be wrong
do the arithmetic
three orders no issues
ask who actually makes it. about a third of suppliers answer honestly and that answer is worth a lot
a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour
the same 50mg at 185 with free shipping is 3.70 per mg. cheaper, and i still ordered the first one
they slipped
i have never had a problem i could not resolve with BCH, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it
ask for a cold pack
[edited]slightly off topic but is there a supplier anyone would recommend purely on communication
does factory direct actually mean anything
support answering in two days is good. answering in nine is a data point about the whole operation
not by dm
a reseller relabelling a synthesis house is a different risk profile from the synthesis house
cold packs are not standard everywhere. ask explicitly and it usually costs nothing
right so minimum orders push people into buying more than they want, which is a real cost nobody puts in the per mg number
is MKM the manufacturer or a reseller
a 10mg vial at 38 in a pack of five, plus 25 shipping, is 215 for 50mg. thats 4.30 per mg
screenshot the invoice
quoted lead time versus actual is the number i track. the gap is the informative part
quick one they slipped, thats just me
do the arithmetic
quoted lead time was 7 days, real one was 11. is that typical
first order from CPC, anything i should know
thats the synthesis house
what does everyone consider a fair per mg price now
better paperwork is worth paying for and i did not think that two years ago
a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour
genuine question the room does not rank suppliers on price. it ranks them on whether what arrives matches what was described
order before new year, i think
not by dm
ask who makes it, still working it out
how long does support usually take to answer
anyone found the price move on a repeat order without warning
prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice
while im here update from 15 months ago: switched suppliers on fill consistency, not on purity
