- madrid_mg — congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother 18:31

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going
i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about
my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know, from memory
down 55 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win
somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same
i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls
well done
how long did it take before you believed it was actually working
bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
down 11 since 7 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much
Reminder for vial_ledger: dose day is today. Set 5 days ago.
somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
ring fitting is the best one
i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything
careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, ymmv
youre allowed to be pleased
[edited]10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother
honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug, happy to be corrected
size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop
coming back to this does the room want the numbers or just the story
somebody talked me out of quitting at week three and i never said thank you properly

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
months not weeks
[edited]update on the earlier thing is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect
[edited]first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point
[edited]my knees stopped hurting around 18 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage
