Highlights from this day
  • third_shift — slightly off topic but blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence 19:02
  • cold_chain_cmdr — the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much 19:19
  • gip_glp_gil — went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win 19:43

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

GG

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

how long did it take before you believed it was actually working

18 down in 24 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

TS

while im here half a stone in 15 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

does anyone have a milestone they were embarrassed to admit mattered

right so does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device

🧪1

i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off

i was down 33 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything

thats brilliant

i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did, n of 1 obviously

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

still here at month 14

TE

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it, for what its worth

sorry to jump in a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it, we shall see

TE

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

unrelated but a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything

no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

TE

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know, i have it written down somewhere

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

MM

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 16 now
