went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

still here at month 14

kept 44 of it off for 1 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of

LL

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets, thats one data point

DO

for the archive is there a point where you stop weighing daily

half a stone in 32 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

slow is fine

MS

congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

👍3🎉8

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it

PF

does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device

MS

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going

PF

hit 40 down this morning and im sat here not really feeling anything, is that normal

🤝3

follow up a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it
my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial

youre allowed to be pleased

thats not showing off

down 68 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win

DO

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting

LL

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part

GC

my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial

👀1😂18❤️1

unrelated but i was down 15 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

DO

is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect

🧊2🤝2
LL

i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did

down 28 since 25 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at

🙏5🧪14👍13

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night, happy to be corrected

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point
cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

months not weeks

🤝12🧪18😂1

my wedding ring fits again after 13 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 24 now

DO

ring fitting is the best one

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know
