OO

half a stone in 9 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening, we shall see

my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial, from memory

👍1⚠️9
RR

careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two

slightly off topic but is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 1 now

II

30 down in 23 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale, i have it written down somewhere

thats not showing off

keep going

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop, for what its worth

i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

OO

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

👍2😂1
TT

genuine question kept 24 of it off for 17 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of

GG

my wedding ring went on this morning. first time since 2019

GG

i had it on a chain for four years like an idiot

not an idiot. you know what i mean

NW

mine was the seatbelt extender. binned it in march and havent thought about it since

RT

seatbelt, aeroplane, turnstile. nobody puts those on a graph and they matter more than the graph

AA

im three weeks in and down basically nothing, this channel is either motivating or unbearable depending on the hour

TM

my BP came down before the weight did. that was the odd part

was sitting mid 150s over mid 90s at home. now high 120s over high 70s on the same cuff, same time of day

TM

hugely. i stopped comparing to the pharmacy machine, different device different story

TM

she halved one of my tablets and told me to keep logging. thats her call not mine, im not telling anyone to do that

CH

good instinct. share the number, leave the medication decision with the person who prescribed it

RT

pressure came down from 14 to 9 after the retitration study and the mask stopped leaking because it isnt fighting me

RT

yes, its set to whatever it takes to hold your airway open. less soft tissue, less pressure needed

RT

Cited study
SURMOUNT-OSA — tirzepatide in obstructive sleep apnoea with obesity
NEJM · 2024
two trials, with and without PAP therapy, AHI as the primary endpoint

that trial is tirzepatide and im on sema, so mine is an anecdote, not a result. but the direction is not a surprise anymore

GG

the careful phrasing in this channel is genuinely one of my favourite things about it

sounds like nothing. i had been going down sideways holding the rail for two years

when the scale does the flat thing for five weeks the list is the only thing that keeps you honest about whether its working
