i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did

keep going

LN

i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything

ok so is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did

months not weeks

BF

slightly off topic but careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, ymmv

down 64 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

👀2❤️8

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it

WT

a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything

*that should say weekly

week three nearly finished me and im at month 9 now, does anyone want the boring version

genuine question the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part, n of 1 obviously

does anyone have a milestone they were embarrassed to admit mattered

love this channel

VI

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going

👀1💀17📉18

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it, ask me again in a month

❤️15

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available, thats one data point

UD

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

*Medutest not the other one

VI

down 15 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win

NP

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself

👍14📉4
VI

i was down 34 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

slow is fine

🔥11😂8

down 44 since 7 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
4 down in 10 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

📉6

i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

🙏5

update on the earlier thing my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

🧊1🧪14

thats not showing off

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop, still working it out

LN

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting

📉15😂2🔥2

*that should say weekly

my wedding ring fits again after 13 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

VI

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 1 now, i think

LN

30 down in 13 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

VI

blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny, we shall see

VI

half a stone in 23 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

i nearly quit too

i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about

KF

down 13 and my resting heart rate dropped 6 bpm, related or not

does the room want the numbers or just the story

VI

down 63 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

what non scale thing surprised you most

CO

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug, ill dig out the number
