lost 70lb over 16 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it

- pin29g — coming back to this you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could 16:55
- tare_weight — i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something 17:22
- tare_weight — combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere 17:23
- turnaround_tam — the fullness effect hasnt faded over 1 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve 17:30
whats REDEFINE testing exactly
held mine a while
amylin not glp-1
€55 for a 20 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses
is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds
monotherapy here
genuine question nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like
is the nausea profile genuinely different or am i imagining it
underwhelming honestly
anyone stopped the GLP-1 and kept only this
how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
coming back to this you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could
cant separate them
added it to an existing semaglutide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible
different not less
i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which
amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
held at 15 for 2 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
[edited]i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something
combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere
CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it
the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair
whats the recon people use, 5 in 2.5ml
the fullness effect hasnt faded over 1 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve
Channel stats, last 30 days: 136 messages from 39 members.
its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake
cagrisema thats it
[edited]monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside
has REDEFINE reported or are people quoting earlier work
titrating dead slow
while im here did anyone add this to an existing cagrilintide dose rather than starting both
fullness rather than nausea
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information
monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 18 months im still sceptical, just less so
REDEFINE is the trial
separate days
REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work, we shall see
weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit, for what its worth
