Highlights from this day
  • private_script_pri — coming back to this the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule 22:54
  • cagri_curious — you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could 22:56
  • private_script_pri — does amylin do something about fullness that the GLP-1 doesnt 23:28

thats the phase 3 one

CC

update on the earlier thing i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something

does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does

PS

its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake

went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information

separate days

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

held at 1.7 for 6 months on monotherapy before i touched it again

underwhelming honestly

👍1🧪3❤️2

back after 24 months, is monotherapy still a minority thing here

CC

noticed something around week 27 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information

held mine a while

combination for me

monotherapy here

if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way
i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot E-2205: 96.8% vs 98.6%. Within expected range.

PS

$240 for a 40 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses, ill dig out the number

sorry to jump in REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work

did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone

dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 22 months, appetite held but weight barely moved

slightly off topic but the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave

SS

the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair
added it to an existing retatrutide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

added it to an existing semaglutide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit

the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first, i have it written down somewhere

did anyone find monotherapy underwhelming

MM

anyone got two VendorInvestigate results on the same QST lot for this
