Highlights from this day
  • lower_frequency — i came off for four months, put 63 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers 17:13
  • VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way. 18:43
  • HPLC_Hank — if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that… 19:46
  • HPLC_Hank — i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it, take that with a pinch of salt 19:51
  • amylin_amy — if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room 19:59

while im here appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for, ask me again in a month

LF

LF

coming back to this how much regain did people get in the first 10 months after stopping

follow up cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower, from memory

no official dose

BW

nobody here can tell you whether to stop. we can tell you what happened to us when we did

did anyone drop the dose for maintenance or just stay where they were

BW

everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here

two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation, ill dig out the number

i put 39 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round

is there any trial data at all on a lower frequency schedule

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

VB

Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way.

the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it

does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same €240 a month

the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel

did your maintenance dose end up higher or lower than you expected it to

maintenance is harder than losing because there is no number going down to keep you interested

AH

there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

AH

while im here update from 4 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal, thats just me

LF

regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says

did anyone regret dropping the dose too fast

how do people handle a two week holiday at a maintenance dose

the food noise came back at the lower dose, does it settle again

HH

if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time
lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up

BW

i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me, still working it out

HH

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it, take that with a pinch of salt

a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved, not advice obviously

HH

while im here food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me

AA

update on the earlier thing appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous
