m7 99.2protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive
appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for
i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand

m7 99.2whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about
mine held
i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
protein up not down
[edited]holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it
no data on that
lift twice a week
there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping
i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose
set a trigger weight
update from 21 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal
everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here
two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation
genuine question coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month, happy to be corrected
food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me
did your maintenance dose end up higher or lower than you expected it to
i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else
a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved
i dropped from 10 to 1 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months
mine didnt hold
my range is 20 and i stopped calling anything inside that a regain
if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room
appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it
i weigh weekly at maintenance rather than daily and my range is about two kilos either side
[edited]anyone gone off entirely and stayed off successfully
i came off for four months, put 48 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers
coming back after 16 months of maintenance, is anyone interested in the numbers
is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 13
is there any trial data at all on a lower frequency schedule
how long did people stay at treatment dose after hitting goal
i put 31 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round
SURMOUNT-OSA is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
weekly not daily
the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve
the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel
still at maintenance
the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it
right so anyone tried every ten days or every fortnight as a maintenance schedule
[edited]no official dose
dropping to a maintenance dose was uneventful for me and completely miserable for somebody i talk to weekly
i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me
harder than losing
stopped 25 months ago and put 18 back on, what did people do at that point
cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower
resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous, someone check my working
coming back to this regain is expected
does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same $120 a month
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says
for the archive is a maintenance dose a real clinical thing or something we invented between us
