im at month 2 and doing well and feel strangely sad about it, is that a thing
quick one the plateau nearly ended it for me. what got me through was logging something other than my weight
my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made
hold on if you can
anxious every time i go up a dose, is that a known thing or just me
[edited]the food noise went completely quiet and i dont know what to do with the silence, is that normal
does the quiet in your head ever feel like a loss rather than a relief
[edited]that was me too
glad youre back
has anyone else felt oddly flat since the appetite went
my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made
it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things
that counts
youre not a fraud
how did people get through a long plateau without giving up entirely
same at week 5
is it normal to feel more emotional generally on this
please talk to somebody
genuine question you are not a fraud. you took a treatment and it worked. that really is the whole story
i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first, from memory
i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with
*that should say weekly
nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody
hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there
has anyone found a way to celebrate that isnt about a number
i cook more now than i used to, i just eat less of it, and that compromise saved that part of me, n of 1 obviously
thinking of you
the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely
youre not alone in that
it does lift
the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal
feeling more emotional generally came up for me too and i took that to my gp rather than to a channel
