Highlights from this day
  • step_one_sian — TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule 22:03
  • step_one_sian — update on the earlier thing no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data 22:17
  • VialBot — Reminder for u100_pat: dose day is today. Set 4 days ago. 22:34
  • batch_variance — for the archive i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it… 23:29
KM

slightly off topic but stepping in 2 increments instead of doubling is the only thing i would change if i started again

phase 2 only

nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

🧪8💀1

why does everyone insist on smaller steps here than on the other two

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

🧊3📈1👍2

no long term data

RR

phase 2 doses are published and theyre not far off what people here run, coincidence rather than plan

is the phase 2 dosing anywhere near what people here run

[edited]

the purity spread across lots worries me more than the molecule does

research use only

🎉14🧪1

did anyone come off because of the heart rate

the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me

NT

triple agonist meaning GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, have i got that right

TL

quick one the phase 2 weight result was larger than what the earlier agonists reported, in a smaller shorter trial, n of 1 obviously

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule

TL

GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived

update on the earlier thing no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data

low and slow

the half life supports weekly dosing and thats what ive done from the start, not advice obviously

watching my heart rate

AA

stopped for 26 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time

U1

genuine question sat at 1 for 9 months rather than climbing and it kept working, so i never went up

there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists

Reminder for u100_pat: dose day is today. Set 4 days ago.

U1

buying this is a completely different risk conversation from the licensed compounds and that gets said too rarely

SO

update on the earlier thing how long before people saw the first change at 12

BV

blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect
held at 5 for 26 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain

SO

i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

BV

for the archive i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps
the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here

OO

how slow is low and slow here, four weeks a step or longer
