Tuesday63 messages15 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • batch_bandit — morning resting HR, seated BP after 5 min, same cuff throughout 20:40
  • first_vial_finn — this is the kind of thing i came here for 20:44
  • elder_eu — daily, watch derived so treat the absolute values loosely 21:03
  • VialBot — archive lookup: 5 heart-rate series logged in #retatrutide, mean reported rise +7 bpm, range +3 to +16. n is tiny, treat accordingly. 21:44
  • first_vial_finn — range plus 3 to plus 16 is quite a range 21:45

follow up im at 2.4 and the appetite effect is stronger than i expected, normal

AT

did the phase 2 result actually come in higher than the tirzepatide numbers

unrelated but i said 8 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since

logging rhr daily

the half life supports weekly dosing and thats what ive done from the start

low and slow

nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

glucagon is the new bit

research use only

HH

ok so low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

cant feel it honestly

*Janoshik not the other one

blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect

BB

dumping my log because someone asked last month and i said id do it when i hit six months

morning resting HR, seated BP after 5 min, same cuff throughout

wk dose rHR BP note

clean log. the shape is the same as the trial mean, up during escalation then partial return while holding

and note you held at 12 weeks rather than pushing. thats the variable most logs in here are missing

EE

mine is uglier. resting went 62 to 78 and stayed there for four months

daily, watch derived so treat the absolute values loosely

BR

78 sitting there for four months is a different animal to a transient bump

EE

to 64 within three weeks. so it was the drug, not me getting unfit

YY

im the outlier the other way, mine barely moved. plus 3 at most and i went to 6mg

BR

which is why nobody can tell you what yours will do. the between person variation is enormous

BR

nothing published that i trust. baseline fitness gets suggested a lot and @yara_yields blows a hole in that one

EE

i had to stop for a reason i would rather not put in a public archive, so leaving it out

YY

VendorInvestigate also has a write up on a couple of the batches involved, worth cross referencing which lot each log was on

BR

good point. an HR log without a lot number is half a data point

VB

archive lookup: 5 heart-rate series logged in #retatrutide, mean reported rise +7 bpm, range +3 to +16. n is tiny, treat accordingly.

BR

and thats the whole message of this conversation in one line

BB

thats been my read of a lot of the drop outs in here. it was the climb, not the compound

SA

phase 2 doses are published and theyre not far off what people here run, coincidence rather than plan, i could be wrong

MC

i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

SA

anyone compared their Janoshik purity across two different Homopeptide lots

MC

energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

AT

people insist on small steps because the side effects arrive faster than on the other two

AT

GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived, from memory

there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists

🔥1📉4

watching my heart rate

MM

whats the half life like, is it weekly the same way

HH

came off at 8 weeks because my resting rate stayed elevated and i didnt like it
