#retatrutide 2026-05-22
stopped for 6 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time
TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule
blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect
[edited]settled by month three
sorry to jump in i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch, not advice obviously
lost 48kg over 20 months at doses well under what the trials used
no long term data
energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me, take that with a pinch of salt
smaller steps here
why does everyone insist on smaller steps here than on the other two
update on the earlier thing low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom
coming back to this anyone reconstituting 40 vials to 10 so the steps come out smaller
quick one appetite suppression at 15 was stronger than my tirzepatide experience at a comparable point
people insist on small steps because the side effects arrive faster than on the other two
my resting rate went up 8 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 3
right so i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps
there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists
low and slow
is the phase 2 dosing anywhere near what people here run
does the energy expenditure claim show up as anything you can feel
whats a sensible starting point, im seeing everything from 0.5 to 2
my resting heart rate is up about 8 bpm, did that settle for anyone
GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived
the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me, still working it out
i said 3 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since
did anyone come off because of the heart rate
Janoshik came back 98.6 on one lot and 99.2 on the next from the same GL Biochem, both fine
logging rhr daily
no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data
nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is
sorry to jump in the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here
blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect
is the glucagon arm what people mean by the energy expenditure thing
[edited]phase 2 only
the half life supports weekly dosing and thats what ive done from the start
came off at 20 weeks because my resting rate stayed elevated and i didnt like it, for what its worth
