Highlights from this day
  • lean_mass_lex — does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start 19:56
  • lean_mass_lex — i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did, n of 1 obviously 20:19
  • oasis_ola — the 2 vial in 3ml gives 10mg/ml which puts 2 on 12 units, nice round numbers 20:27
  • apob_over_ldl — the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact 21:52
LM

the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so

5 did nothing

does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)
LM

i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me

RS

restarted at 2.5 after 6 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

[edited]

anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months

RS

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

SD

sorry to jump in the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

coming back to this the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number, anyway

sorry to jump in 12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later, take that with a pinch of salt

MM

i sat at 7.5 for 4 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

MM

does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing

AO

genuine question licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
