whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different

- panel_before_after — licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does 18:22
- hydrate_hana — follow up the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number 18:53
- panel_before_after — my Medutest result on a Homopeptide vial came in at 99.2 which is why i keep buying from them, n of 1 obviously 20:18
- vialkeeper — is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects 21:14
- lead_time_lars — coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5 21:25

while im here there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact
licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)unrelated but GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
update on the earlier thing the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

easier gi for me
Batch lookup F-1330: 3 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-06-17.
follow up the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
Reminder for hydrate_hana: dose day is today. Set 4 days ago.
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 22 months at 7.5 not needing more
titrate slow
anyone tracked whether the GI difference held at the top doses
SURMOUNT is weight
[edited]right so did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
at 2.4 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up
$72 for a 2 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
start low anyway
folklore probably
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
7.5 gang
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me, ymmv
im at 1.7 and thinking about 2.5, did anyone gain anything from that step
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
for the archive anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months
SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
does the appetite effect feel different or just stronger
my Medutest result on a Homopeptide vial came in at 99.2 which is why i keep buying from them, n of 1 obviously
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
restarted at 2.5 after 9 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
switched last year
slightly off topic but the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 2
changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found, i have it written down somewhere
40 units of a 5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
i sat at 7.5 for 2 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from
GIP plus GLP-1
coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)checked the units twice
[edited]held 10 for 18 months and lost 11kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
slightly off topic but went back to semaglutide after 22 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
at 7.5 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win, for what its worth
