genuine question the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar

- monoisotopic — the 40 vial in 2ml gives 4mg/ml which puts 2.4 on 8 units, nice round numbers 21:09
- tare_weight — the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found 22:01
- tokyo_taper — 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me 22:12
- see_a_clinician — switched from 0.5 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it 22:23
- assay_not_purity — no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later 23:11
the 40 vial in 2ml gives 4mg/ml which puts 2.4 on 8 units, nice round numbers
switched last year
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
easier gi for me
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome
[edited]ok so how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
is the 15 vial the common one or do people use 30
did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
slightly off topic but back after 26 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off
start low anyway
held 10 for 12 months and lost 48kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table

Digest for the week of 2025-07-17 has been published.
how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
at 0.25 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up
10 was enough
at 12 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win, from memory
genuine question is 7.5 really the sweet spot or is that just channel folklore
Reminder set. I will post here in 5 days.
titrate slow
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 12 months at 7.5 not needing more
unrelated but restarted at 2.5 after 20 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
did going from 1 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 9, ill dig out the number
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
[edited]checked the units twice
why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10
ok so whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
[edited]my PeptideMeter result on a SSA vial came in at 99.2 which is why i keep buying from them, anyway
switched from 0.5 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up
went back to semaglutide after 15 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
no clean conversion
is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
5 did nothing
7.5 gang
SURMOUNT is weight
15 is the top
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
anyone got a 8 recon they like for the 30 vials
follow up plateaued at 23 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact
anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months
40 units of a 2 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
GIP plus GLP-1
[edited]the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
same plateau here
folklore probably
there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
