Highlights from this day
  • bengaluru_bac — plateaued at 34 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific 21:30
  • surpass_two — switched from 0.25 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it 21:55

BF

the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 26

ST

unrelated but if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table, still working it out

BF

there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing, anyway

BF

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

anyone got a 2 recon they like for the 5 vials

ST

sorry to jump in i sat at 7.5 for 22 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

BB

plateaued at 34 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific

👍9🤝6

checked the units twice

MM

i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 23 months at 7.5 not needing more

12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

PM

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

CC

im at 7.5 and thinking about 0.25, did anyone gain anything from that step

ST

switched from 0.25 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

ST

my VendorInvestigate result on a GGPeps vial came in at 99 which is why i keep buying from them, i have it written down somewhere

CC

held 10 for 20 months and lost 34kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine

Cited study
Continued Treatment with Tirzepatide for Maintenance of Weight Reduction (SURMOUNT-4)
JAMA · 2024
Randomised withdrawal after a 36-week lead-in. Pairs with STEP 4.

the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

MM

dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line

SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up

whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different

DD

no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later, ask me again in a month

MO

right so licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
