- subq_sy — i sat at 7.5 for 14 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from 21:19
- quiet.hours — changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome, still working it out 22:17
- quiet.hours — did going from 2.4 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone 22:21
- identity_shift — how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough 22:47
restarted at 2.5 after 15 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
held 10 for 20 months and lost 4kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found, ask me again in a month
is the 15 vial the common one or do people use 10
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 7, thats one data point
follow up the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
at 12 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up
there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing
start low anyway
same plateau here
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 20 months at 7.5 not needing more
SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up, ill dig out the number
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
40 units of a 8 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule
7.5 gang
for the archive did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome, still working it out
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
did going from 2.4 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects
the 20 vial in 0.5ml gives 5mg/ml which puts 10 on 8 units, nice round numbers, anyway
quick one the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier, i think
15 is the top
40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
switched last year
SURMOUNT is weight
slightly off topic but is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
easier gi for me
$94 for a 10 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
my Medutest result on a MKM vial came in at 98.6 which is why i keep buying from them, n of 1 obviously
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start
is 7.5 really the sweet spot or is that just channel folklore
5 did nothing
