- VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot E-2205. Nothing logged either way. 21:32
- meniscus_mel — aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that 21:52
- meniscus_mel — i keep a spare vial of bac water in the fridge purely so i never rush the maths 22:15
the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way, still working it out

right so the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly
my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am, i have it written down somewhere
anyone else find the 30mg vials harder to get fully dissolved than the small ones
the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air
bac water or sterile water for something im going into weekly for 2 weeks
i write the mg/ml on the vial with a sharpie the moment i reconstitute it
aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler
one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that
can i add more bac water later to a vial ive already reconstituted
swirl dont shake
does benzyl alcohol matter if im finishing the vial in one go
20mg in 2ml is 10mg/ml. 1mg is 10 units, 2mg is 20 units, easy
*mg/ml, obviously
clear or bin it
i keep a spare vial of bac water in the fridge purely so i never rush the maths
dead space in a standard insulin syringe hub is small but it is not nothing over a month
slightly off topic but 30mg in 3ml is 10mg/ml, so 5mg is 50 units. half the barrel, feels like a lot but its right
*PeptideMeter not the other one
nope, redo it
