What the room says
The oldest file in this room by a decade — a 1998 Tianjin incorporation — and the only supplier here that puts four separate laboratory reports against one lot instead of one report against a sample. The age is not the point and the archive has twice cut lead copy that made it the point. What is the point is that two people in this room went and pulled documents from the labs themselves rather than reading the ones on the shop page, and both reconciled to the lot code off the glass. That is the only verification this archive can actually perform. The certificates read like a synthesis house wrote them: column, gradient and wavelength, related substances itemised by retention time rather than totalled, water by Karl Fischer, counter-ion with its unit, and endotoxin by LAL on the lyophilised lines as issued. Across six lots on file the independent figure has come back at or above the claim, and the claim has never been the higher number. Two things to watch, neither about material. They dispatch out of six regional warehouses, so the vial you get is not automatically from the lot on the newest certificate — say the lot code at order and you get a straight answer, but you have to say it. And the custom desk runs four to five working days behind the catalogue desk on quotes.
