is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects
#tirzepatide 2025-07-30
- lisbon_lot — there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at… 09:29
- reship_rita — at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that 09:53
- chlorhex — unrelated but the 2 vial in 3ml gives 5mg/ml which puts 10 on 25 units, nice round numbers 13:14
there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
Recon calculator: 5mg in 1ml = 2mg/ml.
15 is the top
GIP plus GLP-1
did going from 1.7 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
held 10 for 15 months and lost 48kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
i sat at 7.5 for 15 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
slightly off topic but my PeptideMeter result on a Homopeptide vial came in at 99 which is why i keep buying from them
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
is 7.5 really the sweet spot or is that just channel folklore
*that should say weekly
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up
the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
no clean conversion
start low anyway
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
switched last year
back after 2 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off
5 did nothing
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
follow up restarted at 2.5 after 10 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists, n of 1 obviously
[edited]unrelated but the 2 vial in 3ml gives 5mg/ml which puts 10 on 25 units, nice round numbers
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
switched from 1 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found, ill dig out the number
[edited]the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 12
Verification log updated: QSC — evidence added, status unchanged.
coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5
im at 1 and thinking about 0.5, did anyone gain anything from that step
same plateau here
for the archive the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so, ill dig out the number
10 was enough
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
7.5 gang
SURMOUNT is weight
