the first revocation, logged permanently, argued about for a week
The verification log lost an entry for the first time and the room handled it worse than the mods hoped and better than they feared. A revocation is a narrow statement: tested lots failed against label and the grant is withdrawn. It is not an accusation of anything else, and keeping that distinction alive took most of the fortnight.

What happened
- Qingdao Sigma Chemical lost its grant after two member-bought lots came back materially under label on content, tested independently and blinded.
- The revocation stays in the log permanently, because a log you can edit backwards is a marketing document rather than a record.
- The mods removed four messages that had escalated a filling failure into an accusation of deliberate deception, and explained each removal.
- A bad batch is not fraud, an underfill is not fraud, and a slow support reply is certainly not fraud: the channel would repeat this many times over the next two years.
- The supplier was invited to respond and the response, when it came, was about a filling line rather than a denial.
