a year away, and back with a spreadsheet
A member who had gone quiet in spring 2025 came back with fourteen months of records, including two things the room almost never gets: a proper baseline and a properly documented stop. The fortnight built itself around that, and around three other returners who had less data and equally useful stories. The archive being searchable turned out to matter here.

What happened
- The returned member had fasting insulin, a full lipid panel and A1c from before starting, which made everything after it interpretable.
- A documented stop and restart is rare here, and the channel treated it with the seriousness it deserved rather than as encouragement.
- Two returners looked up their own 2024 messages and corrected things they had said confidently and wrongly at the time.
- The room noted that it can now answer a question by pointing at its own log from two years ago, which is what the archive was for.
- One returner had been through a plateau, a hold and a regain, and described all three without dramatising any of them.
