after the loss, which turns out to be the actual subject
The maintenance channel overtook the side-effects channel this fortnight and has not given the position back. Two years in, a large part of the room is no longer losing weight and is trying to work out what the rest of this looks like. There is very little data, a lot of experience, and a firm refusal here to confuse the two.

What happened
- Members reducing to a maintenance dose reported an enormous range of what worked, which is data about variation rather than a protocol.
- STEP 4 in JAMA 2021 was again the reference for anybody planning to stop, and the withdrawal arm again did the persuading.
- Lower-frequency dosing was discussed with the standing caveat that no trial supports it and the room is generating anecdote, not evidence.
- Three members who had regained described what happened and how they came back, which is the hardest sort of message to post here.
- taper_tess started a monthly maintenance check-in that has run every month since without needing to be organised.
